The mahogany case with removable shallow-arch hood, glazed to the sides, having canted fluted corners with brass inlay and slide-off moulded base; the 10 inch silvered dial, signed Francis Perigal, LONDON , with Roman numerals, outside Arabic minutes at five minute intervals, date aperture, silent/strike selector and pierced blued steel hands. The top quality five-pillar two train fuseé movement with anchor escapement, long pendulum with brass bob, sounding the hours on a bell.
