
A small George 111 period ebony bracket clock.
The bell-top case glazed to the sides and rear with brass handle above. The brass dial with brass spandrels and silvered chapter, Roman numerals with Arabic seconds at five minute intervals, matted centre with false pendulum aperture and silvered plaque signed Wm. Freeman, London and in the arch a chapter for silent/strike selection. The two train fusee movement with verge escapement sounding the hours on a bell, with repeat via a cord, signed on the backplate William Freemen, High Holborn, London.
Case height: 15 ¾ inches (40 cms).
