
A rare French Westminster chiming carriage clock.
The two train spring barrel movement, signed on the backplate ‘JD’, sounding the quarters on four bells, situated in the base, via a small pin barrel, the hours struck on a gong; with a top quality silvered lever platform escapement. The white enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel spade hands contained within a gilt-brass glazed case with folding carrying handle.
Case height: 5 ½ inches (14cms).
