A rare ‘Egyptian’ styled carriage clock.

The gilt-brass Egyptian styled case, signed DRUGEON PARIS, mounted with bronze panels to the sides and rear depicting finely detailed Egyptian scenes; the matching dial with silvered chapter ring with pierced gilt and silvered hands with alarm set dial below. The two train spring barrel movement numbered 11229 sounding the hours and half hours on a gong with repeat facility surmounted by a silvered platform lever escapement.

Case height: 6 inches (15.5cms).
