A very rare ‘obelisk’ table timepiece.

The finely engraved gilt-brass case, numbered 1061, with three sides, one with the clock dial, one with a thermometer and one with a seven day calendar, with circular base standing on an undulating support surmounted by a spire. The florally engraved silvered clock dial signed Thos. Cole with blued steel fleur de lys hands and Roman numerals and similarly engraved thermometer and calendar dials. The eight-day duration movement, numbered 1061, with lever escapement housed within the base with a vertical arbor driving the remote dial.

Height: 8 ½ inches (20.25 cms).
