The break-arch dial with silvered chapter ring, subsidiary strike/silent ring and rococo spandrels. The plain silvered centre signed by the maker BENJ
WARD, London with alarm disc and date aperture. The two train fusee movement with ‘chinoiserie’ engraved back plate, sounding the hours on a bell with alarm train and verge escapement. The alarm set via a pull cord to the side of the case.
